Birthday Celebration for Mr TT

It's his birthday!

We went to Swensen's late afternoon for lunch-cum-dinner.

After the filling meal at Swensen's, we just shopped around to buy a cake and went back to his place.

As usual his favourite cake is pandan kaya, one of mine favourite too due to the fact that it is not creamy like most other cakes are.

Anyway, his maid helped to take a photo of us.



After eating the cake, got a little bored, so here's a photo showing my outfit of the day. =)



There was no dinner with his family this year, due to their busy schedule. Thus, his bday celebration is short and nothing much to update about.

Still in midst of exams, got to go back to the notes.

As usual, posting some outdated photos of places I went!

It was sometime ago when dear & I went to bugis. We headed to bugis street for dessert. I think it's called "Ah Chew" or something.

It was actually recommendd by yanfen to me! They serve nice dessert claiming to be HK-styled.

We shared all these.




The one in red is actually rice balls in red bean soup. Not impressive, or rather it tasted quite average. Definitely not something I want to try again in future. But on the overall, I guess their desserts are not bad!

We went to Haagen Dazs during one weekday.

I ordered an ice-cream with cookies. I forgot the name though. =D



It tasted sweet and might be good for those who like cream, which is not me. But due to the price, i Had to finish it, the whole cup!

Dear ordered a mango sorbet which is really nice, yummy!

Feeling quite bad now. It might means falling sick. What a bad time to fall sick.

This is definitely going to be another long post due to the lack of updates. Of course there are pictures too! I have a sore throat so I guess typing out what I want to say is best!

Firstly, I want to introduce my new hamster !!!

The day that a new female hamster is bought to replace puipui. I tried my best to choose a hamster that looks like puipui's breed.

The new hamster is named sweetie pie. Actually I have ran out of names, so just name my hamster like the tv show. But I think she should be called puipui junior cos of the way she resemble puipui.

I seriously think they look the same!!!

Well, a companion was bought for sweetie pie but she fought with him. He died a few days later due to injuries. I can't separate them cos there was a space constrain. Maybe it was better he wasn't bought.

But I did buy another hamster to accompany sweetie pie as she looked very bored most of the times. This time I took the advice of the shop owner and showered them before putting them together. And..

Tada! They are very close!!


After introducing my new hamster members, it's time for other updates. This pictures were taken of the toy for movie CJ7 that Dear bought for me some weeks ago, probably a month ago. But it looks rather cute like the one in the movie!





Anyway we had lunch over at a cafe "Eighteen Chefs" located at East Point Mall some time ago. It was quite a nicely decorated cafe claiming to have 100 over different combinations of pasta. I think they have a website too.

We order some small dishes to share.

The pasta was really not bad and the price was not too expensive! It can really shows that the chef put in a lot of effort cutting the sausages and cooking the pasta to the right texture! =)

The food was really not bad and will definitely want to go back there again someday.

After the full meal at Eighteen Chefs, we walked around the mall and looked at some games before going for some dessert.

I think we had a heated quarrel that day over colour of PSP. It lasted the whole night and he asked for a breakup due to some nasty comments I made. We were back to normal after that quarrel. Sounds pretty childish. -.-'''

I am feeling sick these days. Bad sore throat. Feeling faint whenever I stand up from seating/lying position. I think it might be due to low blood pressure again. No wonder I got rejected everytime I volunteer to donate blood @ BloodBank. >.< That's all for now~ Will be back soon.

8th March 2008 - Lyes' Gathering Chalet

As can be seen, the post is outdated again. I am trying my best! =)

Anyway, we met up in the afternoon before going to East Coast Park's Island Resort. We checked in and placed our things all at the chalet.

After that, we went out to rent bikes and cycled around ECP. Stopped at the seaside and walked on the beach.

We began to do some silly things~

Soon it was evening and we waited for Allan & Rachel to join us before going for dinner.

Our dinner was settled at a HK Cafe. Food was pretty nice too!

When we finished dinner, we went back to the chalet and took turns to shower. Of course, television was a entertainer for all!

We played mahjong (w/o table), ate, crapped, tv throughout the night. Yexian was the only one who managed to catch a nap. But, he was caught in action! =D



We wanted to go watch sunrise, so we set off earlier to have breakfast @ Mac while waiting for sunrise. Before going for breakfast, I was actually stupid enough to injure my eye with my contact lens. It turned red immediately. As a result, I could not wear it and had to go for breakfast with my sight blurish. *Haha*

While they eat, I started taking candid shots of them!

We finished up our breakfast before cycling along ECP again while waiting for the sunrise.

Finally, after a long wait for the tired us, we began to see some signs of sunrise approaching!

The gathering ended early morning the next day. Well we went home feeling very tired. I went to the doctor at dear's place for my eye inflammation.
